MythWalker Celebrates the Grand Opening of the Tailor Shop
MythWalker players might notice that something looks different today in the city of Hyport. The town’s new tailor, Fay Glamor, has opened the doors to her couture shop, The Nimble Thimble. With the magic of Transmogrification, patrons can visit the shop and use Patterns to alter the appearance of their Heroes’ outfits, weapons and tools. These skins are cosmetic only, and do not affect the applied item’s abilities or stats. Patterns can be obtained by breaking down items dropped from defeated enemies, and purchased at The Nimble Thimble with in-game Gold and Gems.
Fay Glamor is always on top of the latest fashion trends, and the shop is currently featuring summer-themed Poseidon and Swimwear Patterns!
To celebrate the occasion, MythWalker players will find a gift in their inboxes – a Pattern for an exclusive, limited-edition MythWalker Pickaxe. This pattern is claimable now until August 31, so be sure to check your inboxes before it disappears!
The Nimble Thimble and Patterns further expand customization options in MythWalker, where players have a vast library of options to create their perfect Heroes. This latest addition to the game comes on the heels of several major content updates since the games’ launch, including:
Tethering, a proprietary asynchronous online gameplay feature where non-local friends can remotely explore the map together as a party
Friends lists, to make keeping track of friends and partying up fast and easy
Multiple new main and side story quests plus new enemy types to engage in battle, including Wyldevae – a diverse group of fae creatures found in different biomes
A stream of new gear, weapons, and now cosmetic skins for seemingly endless customization possibilities
Field Effects that create unique combat conditions. Rain reduces fire damage and douses burning effects, while Lightning creates random strikes that do damage to those it hits
Today’s MythWalker update also adds multiple main and side story quests and numerous gameplay improvements to create a smooth experience for players. The developmentteam has much more planned in the coming months including an Events system, and information can be found in a letter from the game’s producers here.

Step into Mytherra, a fantastical, parallel planet to Earth ─ a world where throughout history its people and mystical creatures have infiltrated the dreams of humans and over time, formed the basis of Earth’s many earths and legends. Suddenly Mytherra is under attack by an unknown group, which poses a direct threat to Earth as well. A powerful being, known only as The Child, has reached out through the Veil into our world seeking help. She recruits you – the Mythwalker – to uncover the truth about the attackers, explore the connection between the two worlds, and lead Mytherra’s heroes in the defense of their home. Will you take up arms, unravel the mystery between Earth and Mytherra, and save the planets and The Child?
MythWalker is a geolocation fantasy RPG adventure mobile game that brings The Child and Mytherra to life through an overworld traversal system, using real locations to tell the stories of Earth’s myths and legends. With narrative-driven quests tied to an intriguing storyline, a cast of magical and memorable characters, a deep progression system, and robust multiplayer modes, MythWalker will connect players worldwide through meaningful global gameplay.
In addition to local co-op play, Tethering is a new significant feature that allows global synchronous gameplay for up to three players. Whether they are somewhere nearby in the same neighborhood or oceans apart, friends can explore Mytherra together.
The enchanting fairies known as the Wyldevae show themselves as new foes in Mytherra, with three variations encountered throughout different biomes. New quests have been introduced in MythWalker to explore the mysteries of the Wyldevae and will reward heroes with new gear and magical abilities.
Twenty new quests were also recently added and explore the stories of the lizard-like Drakates and the Pirate groups threatening Hyport, Mytherra’s town hub. Completing these quests will yield XP and rewards, plus unlock a portal to visit Stonehenge.

PLAY AS EPIC HEROES
With three species to choose from there is a character to match your playstyle. The Wulven are loyal dog-folk, small but hearty, whose cheerful nature and ferocity in battle make them valuable team players. The Annu are a feathered, birdlike people, driven by pride, whose strength lies in wielding powerful magic. Finally, there are Humans, a well-balanced and versatile people, who can excel in any role.
Players will have a choice of three playable classes. The Warrior is a classic mix of defense and powerful attacks. The Spellslinger is a fast-moving ranged combat specialist. The Priest is a healer and support fighter, focused on endurance and protection.
Can’t choose just one? MythWalker allows multiple characters to be created so players can experience any combination of species and class they want to try.
NAVIGATORS AND TAP-TO-MOVE
Each player is paired with a Navigator, an ethereal spirit form that players use on Mytherra. Players gather Portal Energy during their adventures, enabling them to use their Navigator. This grants the tap-to-move feature, allowing players to interact with points of interest and engage in combat without physically moving. This is the first of many accessibility features currently being developed.
TETHERING AND CO-OP PARTY PLAY
Tethering is a groundbreaking new feature allowing synchronous co-op gameplay from anywhere in the world – a first for geolocation games. Up to two friends can join a lead player to traverse the leader’s local landscape together as a party, whether they are nearby or on other sides of the real world. Friends can connect with each other easily through the new Friends List. Parties have no time limit and allow players to take on harder enemies together while enjoying a boost to XP, gold, and other rewards. Tethering expands MythWalker’s existing social gameplay functionality, which offers local co-op and party play.
EXPLORE THE WORLD BY PORTALS
Mythwalkers can drop up to three portals to different parts of the world via the Hyport Gateway in Hyport. Portals can be traveled to by tapping on them from a globe interface or from a list view at the Gateway. Players are automatically put in Navigator form when traveling through a portal so you can roam and freely explore your new location.
CUSTOMIZE YOUR HEROES
Create up to three distinct heroes in MythWalker, drawing from an extensive array of options. Beyond character species and class, players can customize features such as hair, body shape, and facial attributes. Additionally, cosmetic skins provide an extra layer of personalization, enabling players to transform the appearance of their heroes' gear while maintaining the integrity of the items’ stats.
HYPORT: AN EMERGING CITY
Welcome to the soul of Mytherra - the city of Hyport, which serves as a town hub for players to engage in various activities to help them on their adventures. Here players will meet Madra “Mads” MacLachlan, a legendary, but now retired, Wulven adventurer, who sells all kinds of goods at Mads’ Market. They can stop by Stanna’s Forge to meet Gem Stanna the Blacksmith, who oversees the crafting of gear and can help with upgrading weapons and armor. At the Nimble Thimble, tailor Fay Glamor can customize your hero’s gear with a variety of Patterns to choose from.
EXCITING MINI GAMES
Swing your Pickaxe in the Mining mini-game and get to the bonus rounds for more rewards. Well-timed hits will earn you a bounty of metal - and if you’re lucky, rare stones to help you craft new armor and weapons. Try your hand at the Woodcutting mini-game, where precise swipes will chop down trees, yielding wood and other materials to craft useful items for your adventures.
